COVID-19 │ Impacts on shipment, delivery time and response time on emails

Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak and measures imposed by governments around the world and in Denmark, there are currently unavoidable impacts on shipment, delivery time and response time on emails.

Current situation in Denmark
The Danish Government along with the Danish Health Authorities have closed all public institutions and cancelled all gatherings of more than 10 people until further notice.

Across Europe, most countries have closed off their borders and across the globe are doing the same. Commercial trade is currently not affected, but longer delivery time is expected.

Status at hsa systems
At our offices in Denmark, we are following the recommendations of the Danish Health Authorities. We are working at full capacity but with one half working at our offices and the other half working from home. 

Our production is running as normally while paying attention to Health Authorities' advice on social distancing and disinfection.

We are doing all we can to service you as normally so you are not affected by the current situation.

Impacts on shipment
Some regions in Europe as well as regions in China have completely suspended all shipping until further notice and there is a certain probability of more countries following suit and suspending imports and exports in the coming time.

We are in close contact with our logistics partner and freight forwarders so we can respond to any changes in shipments. You will be notified of any evolvement relating to this.

Longer delivery time
We are doing all we can to ship your orders under the standard delivery times. Under the current conditions, we cannot provide precise delivery dates and you must also expect longer delivery time on your orders.

At present our logistics partner informs that daily operations are running as normally but economy shipments are given low priority and there will be unavoidable and significant delays on economy services.

Express vs. Economy services
Based on recommendations from our freight forwarder, HSA Systems strongly advise that orders are shipped with express services.

We therefore encourage you to specify your preferred shipping method on your order(s). If you do not specify shipping method when placing the order, economy freight will be chosen.

Please be aware that solvent inks cannot be shipped express.

courier, air freight and sea freight status

For courier services
The closure of the Danish borders does not include freight transport. It is important to emphasise that we can still arrange transport in and out of the country but there may be delays at the borders. Delays may also occur due to extra security checks.

This also applies to other countries in and around the European Union that have closed their borders.
For air freight services
In the coming time we expect that there will be extra pressure on cargo planes but so far, our logistics partner is not experiencing problems.
For sea freight services
Sea freight is currently not affected.

We ask that you be patient. Orders will be updated with delivery dates as soon as it is possible and you will be notified via email.
